Red Dress Day 2025

May 5th is the National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit People, also known as Red Dress Day. CUPE Nova Scotia mourns these tragic losses, and offers our support and love to the grieving communities and families of those lost. Indigenous women disproportionately experience life-threatening, gender-based violence because of hatred and racism. We encourage everyone to advocate for systemic change, and to stand together in solidarity and support for justice, healing, and reconciliation. #MMIWG2S #NoMoreStolenSisters
