On May 1st, CUPE Nova Scotia observes International Workers’ Day, also known as May Day. This day is meant to celebrate the hard fought victories of the labour movement’s past, the benefits of which are still enjoyed by millions of workers today. May Day also reminds us of the work that has yet to be done, and strengthens our resolve in pursuit of improved labour rights, equity, and economic justice. ✊
