June 27th is Canadian Multiculturalism Day, a day when we honour the many cultural identities that constitute our communities. CUPE Nova Scotia is proud to honour the accomplishments of these cultures, and their contributions to the multifaceted fabric of our society. Promoting diversity, and acknowledging it as a strength is one of the key ways that we as a union can fight for inclusivity and equity in our workplaces.
