CUPE Nova Scotia is excited to share that we’ll be participating in the Halifax Pride Parade this Saturday, July 20th!
- The CUPE Nova Scotia van’s entry number is D6 – we will be parked at the intersection of Cogswell Street and Robie Street, in the far right lane (see map and parade route attached below).
- Those walking in the parade do not need to arrive before 11:00 am.
- If you are being dropped off, please do so nearby as it is not permitted at the Marshalling Site.
- As groups move forward within the Marshalling Site, marchers are asked to stay on the grass until they are exiting the Marshalling Site.
- The arrival time for the CUPE NS van will be 10:30-10:45 am.
- We have plenty of items to hand out at the parade, so if you are interested in handing them out, we will have some bags filled for you.
Please follow this link for information about the parade’s accessibility features. There will be accessible parking at the Wanderers Lawn Bowling lot, which is directly across from the accessible viewing area. There is also a low sensory viewing area, a described viewing area, and an Elders area.

It is going to be very hot on Saturday, so please make sure to have water with you and anything else you may need.
