Celebrating African Heritage Month

CUPE Nova Scotia is proud to observe African Heritage Month by celebrating Black culture, honouring Black leaders’ accomplishments and contributions to our society, and committing to taking anti-racist action every day. For more than 200 years, African Nova Scotians across this province have shaped our history, our culture, and our communities. We strive to recognize and honour that legacy, with the hope that it will continue to inspire future generations.
