CUPE Nova Scotia was thrilled to welcome members who attended our second Women’s Conference this weekend in Dartmouth! There was a ton of fun to be had while we learned, shared and strengthened our solidarity. We already can’t wait to do it again in 2028! #IWD2026

2026 International Women’s Day

On International Women’s Day, CUPE Nova Scotia is incredibly proud to celebrate the women whose contributions to our union, the labour movement, and society are innumerable! For ALL Women and Girls” calls upon each of us to contemplate how we can take action to dismantle all barriers to equal justice: discriminatory laws, weak legal protections, and harmful practices and social norms that erode the rights of women and girls.
