Our hearts are broken upon hearing that seven children perished in a house fire in Halifax yesterday.
On behalf of the 18,000 members of CUPE Nova Scotia, we extend our deepest condolences to the Barho family on their loss. We hope they are surrounded with love and peace as they try to heal.
To the entire community, including the Ummah Mosque and Community Centre, we are thinking of you today. We hope you will find comfort and strength in the power of community, as we join together to share in the grief of this tragedy.
