Important Information for Members re: Long Term Care Bargaining Impasse

CUPE Nova Scotia invites members from across the province to stand in solidarity with our long term care comrades, sisters and brothers! Time and again, Tim Houston‘s Progressive Conservative government has shown little interest in good faith bargaining with the workers who care for our most vulnerable. This disrespect is to blame for the current impasse, and it’s why we’re bringing our message directly to them at the legislature on February 23rd! CUPE Nova Scotia Convention 2026

Save the dates! CUPE Nova Scotia’s 2026 Convention will be held from May 24th-27th at the Westin Nova Scotian in Halifax. Please see the attached convention call below. The online registration form (which MUST be filled out completely and properly) can be found here. NOTE: Registration is not complete until fees have been paid. If a delegate wishes to participate in the Diversity Caucus and/or the Young Worker Caucus they must self-identify during registration. To vote in your Area Caucus you must specify which Area you work in during registration. Details about these caucuses can be found in Article 5.07 of the CUPE Nova Scotia Constitution.
