Historically known as ‘Atlantic Weeklong School’, CUPE Atlantic Summer school is now open for registration!
Who: All CUPE members may attend
Where: St.John’s, Newfoundland
When: Sunday June 2, 2019 – Thursday June 6th, 2019
Workshops being offered :
- Combatting Harassment, Bullying Violence at Work and in the Union
- Leadership Essentials & Using our Power at Election Time
- Steward Learning Series ; Popular Economics, Green Action, Handling Discharge & Discipline, Creating Accommodation Friendly Workplaces, the Duty of Fair Representation & Growing our Mobilizing Power
Registration :
$1,100 – single occupancy
$900 – double occupancy
Registration deadline is April 26, 2019, and registration fees must be paid no later than May 20, 2019.
Locals affiliated with CUPE Nova Scotia may apply for our ‘Mike McNeil Weeklong School Scholarship’. This scholarship covers the cost of the registration fee for a single room for the purpose of attending the CUPE Atlantic Summer school.
Applications must be received no later than the revised date of April 26, 2019.
